The WSEMA 2025 Conference is next week. We can’t wait to see you there! The agenda is packed and we have a couple of missions ready for you. Who is the double agent? What’s on the USB??????? Whether it’s something unique from your region, a collection of local treats, or a creative themed basket, every contribution adds excitement and value to the event.

We are beyond thrilled to announce that the WSEMA has officially surpassed 300 members! This momentous occasion in WSEMA’s history represents a 211% increase in members ABOVE our previous highest ever membership level of 141 members last year.

WSEMA Board Elections – We have a couple of board positions up for election. This year the West-Side Representative, Secretary, and the Tribal Liaison are open. These are 2 yr terms.

  • Elections are conducted in-person at the General Membership Meeting on Sep 24th.
  • Candidates may nominate themselves or be nominated by another WSEMA member. 
  • Candidates for Board positions must be Active WSEMA Members, as defined in the WSEMA Constitution.
  • Nominations shall be made to the President via email
  • During the General Membership Meeting, a call for nominations from the floor will be made prior to commencement of voting
    • Individuals nominated from the floor must be present to accept the nomination and be an Active WSEMA Member prior to their nomination. 
    • Member dues and registrations will not be accepted at the time of the meeting. 

Membership renewals reminder – don’t forget that our membership year runs Oct 1-Sep 30. Membership renewal notices will go out after conference. You don’t have to wait to renew. I already have a handful of people who really wanted to make sure they are members for 25-26!
