A big thank you to one of our first member sponsors, Ken Alexander! A Senior Engineer at Windsor Engineers with over four decades of experience in engineering—and 37 years as a licensed professional engineer—he brings both technical depth and a passion for public service to our emergency management community. His career includes more than 30 years in the military, 16 of which overlapped with his time as a civilian engineering consultant. Since joining Windsor two years ago, he’s continued to blend engineering expertise with a commitment to emergency management.
A Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) since 2010, he first found his interest in EM through military service 26 years ago, and he’s stayed engaged ever since—supporting clients through his dual lens of engineering and resilience. Since 2014, he’s also volunteered with the Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency (CRESA), continuing his mission to support the field. While he may not attend conferences himself these days, his generous WSEMA sponsorship is helping others—especially aspiring emergency managers—gain access to professional development opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach. Connect with Ken through Windsor Engineers if you want to learn more about his work!
WSEMA works hard to keep membership dues low, which means there are additional opportunities for members to directly support the association’s initiatives. Whether through financial contributions or volunteering time, support from members like Ken help to strengthen WSEMA and expand its impact!
