Meet New WSEMA member Nathan Lethgo!

Welcome to our newest WSEMA member Nathan Lethgo! Nathan retired from the US Army as a Combat Medic in 2023 after a 20 year career. He took a well earned year off with his family, including setting roots in Battle Ground, WA, before becoming a full time volunteer with the American Red Cross serving as a Disaster Action Team Responder and an Instructor. Nathan is loving this new stage of life; spending time with his little girls and volunteering. His passions lie in baking, dogs, houseplants, and hiking (specifically in that order)!

With a lifelong connection to emergency response while in the Army—including deployments for Hurricane Katrina, the 2015 Hindukush earthquake, and the Red Hill water crisis—Nathan’s passion for emergency management was solidified while serving as the Ops Section Chief for 18 months at the the Triple Army Medical Center EOC on Oahu during COVID-19. He is now enthusiastically looking for opportunities to work full time in the emergency management field!

Nathan is currently working on his National Emergency Management Basic Academy (NEMBA), where he has met numerous WSEMA members and was encouraged to sign up to join our association! As a lover of networking and forming connections with like minded individuals dedicated to serving the state, he is thrilled to be part of the team!

Connect with Nathan on LinkedIn to say hello and welcome him to our association! As our newest member, you can also find him on our WSEMA app member directory, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play!

Welcome Nathan, we are excited to have you on board and part of our community!
